Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1614

Wyatt blurted out as he held Waverly in his arms. Even he was shocked by what he said. Then he realized his deepest desire - he wanted to be with her.

At this moment, the calmness and satisfaction in his heart were exactly what he had been craving for!

Hearing this, Waverly's breath hitched. Her surprise was quickly replaced by a kind of unspeakable affection. Waverly felt a little anger in her heart and hit him in the chest.

"Let me go! Is this you pitying me or playing tricks on me?"

No matter which one it was, it was not what she wanted!

Her clothes were twisted because of his tight hug. The pain of her wound, the heat of their bodies, along with what he said, caused Waverly to blush.

"Let go of me!"

She didn't want him to pity her! After all, her injuries were minor. Even if something really happened to her, she would only blame herself, not anyone else. It was she who chose her own path and provoked someone she should not have messed with.

She admitted that it was all her fault!

Waverly rolled her eyes, her feelings evident in them.

"Do you know why I chose to speak to you in person? I was going to return the bag to you! Have you not gotten the hint yet?"

She raised a finger and couldn't help but bring up the past.

"Did you think that I wanted to catch up with you? I know you're Mr. Perfect, and you do everything right. Any intelligent woman would know to behave and be content to be with you. But I'm not the same. I'm incapable of being content. I'll never be content in my life. What's more, you gave me someone else's leftovers! Do you think that I'm a beggar?"

With an angry outburst, Waverly violently poked the distinct scar on his neck. "I don't need your charity! So, you don't need to feel guilty at all. I won't blame you even if I die!"

While she was unhappy and did have an opinion about him after the incident, she did not need him to make it up to her out of pity. She would not repeat such a silly mistake!

Wyatt felt a sting in his throat after hearing her words. However, when he followed her finger, his heart sank again.

So, was she really going to put her cards on the table?

Although Wyatt only understood half of what she said, he got the gist of it. Unconsciously, he tightened his grip on her.

"What I'm doing is not charity, nor is it out of pity. I genuinely want to be with you. We're never going to break up, ever!"

In the past, he would have second thoughts. But after this incident, a realization dawned on Wyatt. Just as he said, nothing mattered in the face of death. Compared to living an amazing life with her, it was nothing!

Holding her damp hair, Wyatt pressed against her forehead.

"I don't care about anything else in this world. I know that I only want you! I don't want to be with anyone else but you. Waverly, nothing else matters to me. I just want you to get better. In fact, I shouldn't make you angry-"

He shouldn't have let her come to find him. It was his fault for not protecting her.

If he hadn't provoked that pervert, if they hadn't quarreled, if he hadn't hurt her, if she hadn't come to find

him, if he had gone down early:

wait for her, if he had found hone

earlier, if he had killed that bestard earlier... none of this would have happened!

He had so many chances, but he still failed to protect her from danger. The wounds on her body were all his fault. He would never forgive himself in this life!

If possible, he would rather it all happen to him.

"It sucks when we argue. When you ignore me, feel like I've lost my soul. I get excited when you say that you want to see me. Do you know how scared I am to lose you? Waverly, let's not argue. As long as we're together, nothing else matters! Give me another chance to take care of you, okay?"

He buried his head between her chest, and suddenly, Waverly's heart softened.

She felt weak and lost her strength to struggle.

That's right!

What mattered most was being together!

She sniffed and pulled her clothes with her hand, saying, "I can't breathe."

Hearing this, Wyatt instantly loosened his grip on her. As soon as he opened his mouth, Waverly wrinkled her nose and glared at him with a disgusted look. "You stink. You've made me dirty too!"

He reeked of sweat, and yellow stains were evident on his white shirt. He probably had not changed in a long time! At this moment, Waverly noticed the exhaustion on his face.

In the past two days, she slept in his bed, and he stayed by her side. He didn't even leave to shower. He must not have had a good rest!

Wyatt tugged at his clothes and sniffed. Waverly had already pointed to the bathroom.

"If you don't wash up, don't touch me. I've just showered and you've made me dirty already."

As she spoke, she pretended to lift up her arm and sniff at it. Wyatt was even more surprised when he saw the look on her serious face and the coquetry in her tone.

"Okay. I'll shower once you dry your hair. I don't want you to catch a cold!"

They sat on the sofa, and Wyatt soaked up the moisture in her hair with a towel before drying it with a hairdryer. After he finished, Waverly felt a heat on her body. She was about to lift the towel when Wyatt stopped her.

"Don't move! It's better for a woman's body to warm up. You'll cool down soon. Don't dodge."

A higher body temperature could increase blood circulation, and even speed up

the recovery of the wound. This was why many people would recover quickly during summer.

"Go lay in bed while I shower..."noveldrama

Wyatt walked her to the bed and tucked her under the blanket. Then he handed her a few books before he went to the bathroom with a fresh Change of clothes. Soon the sound of running water came Waverly looked up and felt that her heart had finally found its home.
