It was only then that he let go of Waverly. Wyatt took a step back. Seth stepped forward and whispered a few words into his ear before turning his head. In response, Wyatt frowned.

After turning around, he briefly explained to Waverly before heading off to give a statement to the police. He also said goodbye to both Abel and Harry. Next, Wyatt returned to Waverly's side. His eyes were filled with a reluctance to leave as he stared at her.

"Something urgent came up at work..."

From his face, Waverly could vaguely feel that something big had happened. Although it was still a mess at the scene, her father and brother were there. Furthermore, the police had arrived as well. The situation was under control. Fiddling with her wrists, she wasn't angry.

Instead, she said, "Go and do what you have to! If I need you, I'll call you."

Wyatt breathed a sigh of relief and his solemn expression eased a little. "Okay. My phone is always on. I'll be on my way then!"

Before getting into the ambulance, a sharp cry was heard from outside the house.

"Dr. Fletcher, I'm dying from injury!"

After a pause, everyone rushed out. They saw that the two stretchers were still on the ground with two assistants on each side. The forensic experts repeatedly tried to carry out first aid. Finally, they got up dispiritedly and shook their heads.

"Sorry! Due to the angle of the stab wound, both of them have suffered severe internal organ damage. I've tried my best."

Since this was a matter concerning human life, they were still carried away in the ambulance despite already passing away. Following that, everyone else went to make a statement with the police. Everyone was shaken and all spoke the truth.

The matter had been satisfactorily resolved. As the whole family was leaving, they saw Lindsay being handcuffed.

In front of the car door, Abel was shocked and couldn't believe it. "Harry!"

Without saying anything else, they all got into their cars and left.

In an instant, everyone was stunned. After all, everyone witnessed that scene with their own eyes!

"Doctor, have you checked her thoroughly? She couldn't even recognize me earlier. I am her fiancée. No matter how I call out to her, it's like she can't hear

Her reaction was like a person who had lost their mind. She wasn't normal at all!

Although she successfully did that, it's still a nerve-wracking situation to be in. This is especially true for a woman

who used to be very beautiful or loves her looks. It could be a form of

torture to her. Regardless, she will get out of this headspace eventually! I have already injected her with a calming sedative so that she can have a good sleep. You guys need to take extra care of her from now on.
