His Ex wife is a billionaire (Evadne and Thaddeus) Novel Full Episode

Chapter 1018

Evadne turned, her eyes glistening with tears, to see Frederic storming into the hospital room, a storm of anger and frustration radiating from him.noveldrama

"Frederic, why are you shouting like that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Though Hamilton was Frederic's father, his protective instincts kicked in for llana, and he mustered all his strength to speak firmly, "What do you mean he's done for? Thaddeus hasn't lost an arm or a leg; he's just unconscious for now! Are you really cursing your own son?"

"If you think he's beyond hope, instead of yelling here, you might as well get started on the arrangements-it might even bring Thaddeus some luck!"

"Dad, at a time like this, you're still siding with this girl?" Frederic was furious, his eyes bloodshot as he glared at Evadne. "I'm beginning to think you're the curse in Thaddeus' life! What did he ever do to you to deserve this?"

Evadne, usually so quick with words, found herself speechless, her fingers clenching tightly, enduring the weight of his accusations in silence.

Her silence only fueled Frederic's anger further, and in a fit of rage, he raised his hand, ready to strike her pale face.

"Frederic, stop!" Hamilton's eyes widened in shock, but his frail body was powerless to intervene.

Evadne closed her swollen eyes, not flinching from the impending blow.

She felt she deserved it. Frederic's words rang true; she blamed herself for Thaddeus' condition.

She deserved to be hit, to be punished.

Smack-!

Evadne's frail body flinched!

Yet, the slap never landed.

Slowly, she opened her tear-filled eyes.

The sight before her took her breath away, her heart clenching tightly with disbelief.

Frederic's hand, poised in mid-air, was firmly grasped by the unexpected arrival of Chad, who had appeared seemingly out of nowhere.

What shocked Evadne even more was that Chad wasn't in a wheelchair.

He was standing, on his own two feet!

"Chad, your... your legs?" Frederic stared at his eldest son, eyes wide with disbelief.

Hamilton was equally astonished, his gaze sweeping over Chad's tall, composed figure.

"Dad, no matter what, there's no excuse for violence." Chad's voice

was calm, his eyes meeting Evadne's with a depth and sincerity that was impossible to ignore. "Thaddeus was protecting the person he loved. That was his choice. I don't believe Ms? Evadne is to blame. I know you're hurting for Thaddeus, but it's not right to take it out on someone who's innocent."

Evadne's brow furrowed, her teeth sinking into her lip.

With those words, Chad released Frederic's hand.

Frederic flinched, feeling the pain in his wrist, looking down to see it reddened.

"Master Chad! Please, be careful!" Alexia hurried over, pushing a wheelchair towards him, ready to assist Chad in sitting down.

Chad chuckled softly, his eyes crinkling, "I'm alright. I'm not that fragile. Sometimes, it's good to stretch your legs."

"Chad, your legs... they're okay?" Frederic asked, his eyes fixated on his son's long legs beneath the sleek black trousers, momentarily forgetting his anger towards Evadne.

Chad gave a small, serene smile, his gaze brushing over Evadne like a gentle breeze, "Dad, just because I use a wheelchair doesn't mean my legs don't work."
