Living With My Lady Boss

Chapter 2810

The same voice rang through the air, and the Dragon God said, "I can tell Edmund really wants you dead, but that's a tragedy you have to break out of yourself. I cannot help you."

Wilbur knelt on the ground. "Please, Honorable Dragon God. Just this once, please!"

The Dragon God said, "Wilbur, you should know that the dragon clan is unlike any other. It has gained the respect of the other clans because the dragon clan never begs another. You are a dragon clan cultivator and should understand this very well."

The voice stopped after that.

"Honorable Dragon God!"

Yet the Dragon God did not reply no matter how much Wilbur shouted. He gritted his teeth, getting to his feet as he turned to the Dragon's Altar.

Wilbur walked up to the altar, tossing the storage ring he had won from the duel inside. White light flashed in the air, and Wilbur now had fifty thousand and two grace points in the golden hourglass.

Fifty thousand grace points from a hundred thousand gold coins, and the two extra points were probably from the storage ring itself. Which meant... a storage ring was worth two grace points.

Wilbur was a little shocked. A dimension ring was hardly worth a hundred silver coins in Buck Town. One gold coin was a thousand silver coins, which could get him ten storage rings... that was twenty grace points.noveldrama

Going by that theory, a hundred thousand gold coins would actually get him two million grace points!

The thought of how Wilbur had struggled to earn those grace points in the past made him sick, and two million grace points was a mind-boggling number.

He would have been able to get that, but now only had fifty thousand. Wilbur was filled with regret—but figured that it might not be hard to get a hundred thousand gold coins considering the position he was in.

The Chris family got around fifty thousand gold coins in profits every year, and Wilbur was pretty sure Felix would gladly give him the money if he asked.

Wilbur looked up at the screen, more confidently this time. The first option was a dimension spell called the Invisible Blade, which would earn the cultivator a special flying blade that regular cultivators would not even be able to sense.

Wilbur gasped. "I can't believe something like that actually exists."

Different cultivators had different energy auras, but they usually could not sense each other's energy auras. The Invisible Blade probably contained an energy that regular cultivators would not be able to sense at all.

Considering that, the other person would surely be unable to sense the presence of the Invisible Blade, and even be killed in the blink of an eye.

An undetectable energy aura like that could be used to one's advantage and take someone down without them noticing.
