Wilbur looked pointedly at Felix, who scrambled to kneel at once. "I would never dare question you, Master. Please, you're free to kill me if you disbelieve me in the slightest."

"Then why did you ask so many questions?" Wilbur turned away. The Tricorpse Beetles had given him a nasty temper, and Wilbur found himself questioning even Felix.

"Master, we now know Edmund spiked your drink," said Edmund. "I'm sure he's gotten his men to spy on the Chris family as well. Edmund's goal with the Tricorpse Beetles was destroying your cultivation, and then having an elite kill you. He's a cunning man. We have to be careful."

"That bastard! He seems so kind and honorable, but it's all a facade!"

Wilbur's fury grew as he spoke, causing his energy aura to be decoured. Felix saw this and panicked at once. "Please don't get angry anymore, Master. You'll lose all your cultivation if this goes on, and we'll be in trouble then. I don't think you should be seen out in town for now, Master. Can you tell me what you want to do with the gold coins? I can get it done for you."
