Conrad had sensed the energy aura in Wilbur's body as he spoke and could hardly contain his glee. "I can't believe this day finally came! You've lost over ninety percent of your powers, and you're almost the same as a regular mortal now! Do you think you'll be able to defeat me?"

Wilbur glanced at Felix at Conrad's feet. "I might not be able to beat you, but I'll take you in a battle still. Will you let Felix go then?"

"Felix means nothing to me."

Conrad sent Felix flying with a kick to his stomach, then smirked condescendingly at Wilbur. "Your time in Buck Town is up, Wilbur!"

Conrad released a powerful energy aura as a huge shadow appeared behind him. Conrad put out his right hand, and the shadow reached out to swipe at Wilbur as well.

The shadow moved far too quickly for Wilbur to react, and he was soon stuck in the hand's grasp as it raised him into the air.

Conrad let out a hearty laugh, then shouted, "You're dead, Wilbur Penn!"

He closed his hand into a fist, and the shadow's hand tightened around Wilbur as well.

Being idle for a whole year had greatly weakened Wilbur, and he could not defend himself in the slightest. The sudden pressure around him made him feel like every bone in his body was about to snap.

Wilbur cried out in pain, just as the seal on the right side of his chest broke open to release a black energy aura. His pupils turned black as electricity jolted through him, and Wilbur returned to his senses to realize that the Dark Lord had taken over his body.

A deep, raspy voice came out of Wilbur's mouth, making Conrad stop in shock. That was clearly not Wilbur talking.

At the same time, a powerful dark energy exploded out of Wilbur. The Dark Lord sensed that Wilbur's body had weakened greatly and cursed out loud, "What did you do to yourself, Wilbur Penn?"

The dark energy exploded the next second, blasting the shadow's hand into miasma as Wilbur stared Conrad down from where he was hovering in mid-air. "I'm going to kill you now, just for having the nerve to try and kill me!"

The Dark Lord howled, forming a black energy ball in his right hand before charging toward Conrad. Conrad, amidst his shock and terror, formed a defensive barrier at the very last second.

"Boom!"

The barrier crumbled after a loud explosion and Conrad was sent flying. He climbed up the walls of the Chris family grounds right after picking himself up, fleeing the scene.

"How dare that bastard disrespect me!"

The Dark Lord took a few steps forward before he was struck with immense pain

in his chest. Electricity jolted through his body as he was forced onto one knee, and Wilbur regained control of his senses.

Wilbur gritted his eyes as he looked down. His chest was throbbing with pain, and the broken seal was healing itself rapidly.

Felix ran over to him then. "Are you alright, Master?"
