Adela laughed loudly as he spoke the words, and Augheimer gritted his teeth. "What are you laughing at? Is that supposed to be funny to you?"

Adela took out an amulet, muttering a spell as he threw the amulet into mid-air. A black hole appeared at once and rapidly grew. In the next second, a black phoenix burst through the hole while letting out a piercing cry.

"Adela cried out, "Kill them, Ebony Phoenix!"

The Ebony Phoenix flapped its wings, soaring towards Ramont and Augheimer. It stopped in mid-air, stretching out its wings to its maximum wingspan. The dark space energy around Augheimer seemed to be sucked away, quickly channeling into the phoenix.

Augheimer's energy aura was drained within the blink of an eye, and the Ebony Phoenix let out another cry as the last of the power of dark space disappeared. In the next instant, a jet of black flames shot out of the phoenix's mouth.

"Watch out!"

Wilbur appeared in front of the two men all of a sudden, muttering a spell and activating the Dragon's Safehaven. A brightly-colored ray of light appeared, enveloping Wilbur, Augheimer, and Ramont right before the black flames struck them.

The Dragon's Safehaven cracked and was reduced to dust in an instant, and the jet-black flames continued to creep toward Wilbur and the others.

With no other choice, Wilbur created a defensive barrier on the spot to withstand the attacks of the flames. Just as the flames came into contact with Wilbur's hands after destroying the barrier, Wilbur lit up with a white glow lined with black light that absorbed the flames at once.

"What the..."

Wilbur was shocked, before realizing that it was the evil god power that Senior Kaiser had left on him. At the same time, the white glow also made Adela realize just who he was dealing with.
