The monster merely spun around Keith's weapons and vehicles once, and all of them were destroyed.

Countless bodies were torched in the sea of flames.

The remaining survivors were scared out of their wits, lying on the ground and wailing in agony.

The monster flew in another circle. Upon making sure that there was no counter- attack, it hovered in mid-air, staring at the ground coldly with its enormous eyes.

The crowd trembled in its presence, and no one dared to move in the slightest. Just then, the man made his way over to Hannah and Harrod.

Hannah was still struck dumb.

This man was handsome and charismatic, exuding confidence in his every move.

Cool, calm, and collected.

Hannah's chest pounded wildly. She felt her mouth going dry, and her body temperature rising steadily.

Harrod fell to the ground on his knees.

"Please, sir! I'm from Dasha, please spare me."

The man eyed him coldly. "Really? You hardly seem human to me."

Harrod raised his head shakily. "Please, sir, I only did it for the money. I never wanted to harm anybody."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, sir, I swear! We can work together! Everest has two billion dollars in cash flow right now at the bank. I can get all of it out."

Harrod was scared out of his wits. He did not know who this man was, nor why he had killed Keith.

What Harrod did understand, however, was that this man was not his friend.

If he could kill Keith, he could kill Harrod.

Harrod stared at the beast in the air, recalling the blow that had killed Keith.

He made the wise decision then to give up on fighting back, hoping that he would be able to gain this man's favor through money.

What mattered most now was getting out of this alive.

The man looked at Harrod. "Does that money belong to you?"

"N-No, it doesn't," Harrod said uneasily.

"You really are a joke."

The man cast another blow, and Harrod exploded into a fog of blood before he could even scream for help.

Some of the blood splattered lightly onto Hannah, and she trembled at the impact.

Just then, the man came up to Everett. He helped Everett to his feet, placing him in Hannah's car. "Take him back."

Hannah was still unable to speak then. Her mind was completely blank.

A long while later, she returned to her senses to ask, "What's your name, sir?"

"You don't need to know that. Just get out of here," said the man coldly.

Hannah's chest lurched.

The man's cool authority made it hard for her to dare say another word.

Hannah only felt overwhelming respect for this man, along with an indescribable feeling.

"Thank you, sir. My name's Hannah Toya, I'm the general manager of Everest Foreign Trade. Please look for me if you ever find yourself in Goldsand City."

Hannah had finally snapped out of her stupor enough to remember that her father needed urgent help, and it could not wait.

Amidst her shock and confusion, Hannah drove off with her father.

She did not know what that man was going to do, nor did she dare to ask.

At the very least, she knew that her father had been rescued.

Hannah made up her mind to find this savior once her father was healed and thanked him with all her heart.

Wilbur smiled as he watched Hannah drive off, before turning back to the people kneeling on the ground.

Hannah's security team was trembling from head to toe.

They were terrified that Wilbur's next blow would be at them.

Keith's squad, however, had their arms outstretched towards Wilbur while

shouting, "O' Lord of Fire Dragons!"

"What?" Wilbur looked at the flame serpent, perplexed.

It did bear some resemblance to a dragon but had a long way to go before evolving into one.

From the looks on these people's faces, though, it seemed like they wholeheartedly believed that they were in the presence of a god.

Did fire dragons exist in these people's beliefs?
