No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

After Samantha's remark, the bar's private room fell silent. Many people turned to look at Noelle, some with looks of amusement.

"I heard Noelle offended people from the business school on the first day of the semester."

"Yeah, I was there. She was so arrogant."

"People really ought to know their place. Otherwise, they'll end up overestimating themselves."

Samantha looked at Noelle smugly, determined to embarrass and teach her a lesson. She wanted Noelle to fail in school and ultimately be forced to kneel and apologize to her.

Samuel said, "Ms. Merlock, I think there's a misunderstanding between you and Noelle. Since we're all part of the same club now, why don't we just have a drink and move past it?"

Xenia quickly added, "Yes, Noelle. You should take the initiative to propose a toast to Ms. Merlock as an apology."

Samantha grabbed a glass of alcohol from the table and splashed it on Noelle. "This is a little lesson for you! I want you to understand the difference between us!"

"Noelle, you should really listen to Samuel and apologize," Xenia said, feeling satisfied. She thought Noelle deserved it.

Samuel handed a drink to Noelle. "Take this drink and show a better attitude."

Everyone in the room gasped in disbelief, holding their breath. They knew Samantha was not someone to be messed with, yet Noelle dared to act this way!

Samantha screamed, "You bitch! You're dead!"

Xenia snapped back to her senses and quickly grabbed some tissues for Samantha. She was shocked-she hadn't expected Noelle to be so bold.

Noelle brushed her hands off and casually said, "You dumped a drink on me first, so I'm just returning the favor."

turned to leave. She had no interest

in eating with these people. She

went to the restroom first, thinking she should have never come. What a bad day. As she came out of the restroom, she saw Xenia standing there.

Xenia looked down at her with arrogance. "Noelle, you offended Ms. Merlock; you're as good as finished. Even if Donovan steps in, you might not be able to escape."

"You must feel so proud, stirring things up by getting Samantha to go after me. What a clever move, using someone else as a pawn."

"I don't know what you're talking about, but all I know is you're doomed. The

Merlock family will definitely hold you accountable for this!"

"I'll wait then." Just as Noelle was about to leave, Xenia sprayed something at her.

Noelle smelled something fragrant, but the scent was strange. She quickly

covered her nose and mouth, stepping back warily.

At that moment, Samantha walked in, accompanied by several bodyguards. "Noelle, how dare you~~ splash me with alcohol? I'll arrange for ten thugs to show you what it means to be humiliated. Let's see how you'll survive at Yole University after this!"
