Surprise flickered in the depths of Qiao Jing’s eyes.

A man holding a tray walked in, setting the meal down on the table opposite Qiao Jing.

"Your lunch, Professor Qiao."

Seated on the sofa, Qiao Jing nodded, then pulled out her phone and casually tapped a few times to freeze the surveillance feed on a single frame.

The person responsible for delivering food didn’t pay any attention to Qiao Jing fiddling with her phone.
