Richest Mogul

Chapter 1553

Charles' voice carried a note of finality as he spoke. "I'm going to rest now. Let me give you one last piece of advice. If you keep living a life of deceit, don't expect a good outcome. Start reflecting on your actions. Maybe then, your later years won't be so miserable." These words came from the heart. After all, Finn was indeed his father, and there were some truths that still needed to be said. But deep down, Charles knew men like Finn would never change.

Finn was too self-serving, always choosing whatever benefited him most and avoiding anything that didn't align his interests. He was the epitome of selfishness. There was no hope for Finn to ever truly repent.

Logically, after his divorce from Miriam, Finn should have had a decent amount of money in his account. Coupled with his ability to make a living abroad, he ought to have been doing well. Yet somehow, he had managed to lose it all in a scam.

That alone proved Finn's unwillingness to play things by the book. Doing things the right way was too tiring for him.

"You ungrateful son!" Finn spat angrily. "Turning your back on me like this-do you believe in retribution? It will come for you!"

Before Finn could say more, the call ended abruptly.

He tried calling back repeatedly, but the calls wouldn't go through. He had been blocked.

Fury surged through him, and for a moment, he nearly hurled his phone across the room. But he stopped himself he couldn't afford to replace it.

The phone and the small amount of cash in his pocket were all he had left. His bank accounts had been emptied by the scammer. At least the house he lived in was still his. But the thought of never being able to return to Jipsburg made his chest ache. Janine had remarried. She betrayed him and married another man. Once upon a time, she had promised to love him forever.

It seemed like all women were the same liars, every single one of them.

Miriam had promised eternal love too, yet after everything he did for her, she had the audacity to keep a man on the side. It was so different

He was a man, and men couldn't control their desires. No matter how many women he had, his wife had always been the most important to him.

So whether it was Janine or Miriam, they were both the same-worthless.

"Bitches, all of them!" Finn roared, frustration boiling over.

Two years later, Natalie's cafe had become a local sensation. Her latest coffee blends were flying off the shelves, and influencers frequently visited to showcase her charming space. Their followers flocked to try the drinks, turning Natalie's café into a hotspot.

Business boomed, and Natalie seized the opportunity to expand. She opened several new branches and began franchising her coffee brand nationwide. Collaborating with manufacturers, she launched an online sales channel and even brought on a celebrity spokesperson to elevate her brand. In just two years, Natalie had achieved financial freedom.

Today was her birthday, and she had invited Skylar over to celebrate.

"Happy Birthday!" Skylar greeted her, handing over her gift.

It was a bracelet, one Skylar had specially designed by Muriel. It was a unique piece, made of platinum and rubies.noveldrama
