Secrets Of The Neglected Wife

Chapter 859

Chapter 859:

Jareth quickly pulled up the footage for Verruckt. In the few frames available, only a vague, blurry shape appeared. Jareth hung his head.

“That woman was quick. She moved the instant the camera focused on her.”

Verruckt took the tablet and watched the footage over a dozen times.

Finally, Verruckt gave a cold, confident laugh. “It’s her again.”

“Her?” Jareth asked, confused. “You know her, Mr. Shaw?”

“The female assassin who infiltrated the lab before,” Verruckt said, his voice tight with anger. “Find her. Do whatever it takes. I won’t let her escape!”

“Understood, Mr. Shaw.”noveldrama

Meanwhile, the yacht carrying Allison had already made its way into the Galaxy cruise ship through a different entrance. Everyone was soaked and exhausted, struggling to put one foot in front of the other.

“Ms. Clarke, you’re safe now,” Kylo said, arriving with his men carrying comfortable sportswear and key cards. “Ms. Clarke, these are for you. I’ll handle everything else.” His team started handing out supplies.

“Mr. Vargas has arranged rooms for everyone. The cruise ship has plenty of space, so feel free to rest.”

“Thank you.”

Allison felt her tense nerves start to relax. Turning to her men, she said, “Everyone, go get some rest.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

Once her team was settled, Gordon stayed behind. He narrowed his eyes at Kylo.

“We meet again, Mr. Vargas.”

He had crossed paths with this man once years ago, back when Kylo struck a deal with Gordon’s father and eventually took control of the casino business in Muisvedo.

“Indeed,” Kylo replied with a smile. “I didn’t expect to see you here.”

He didn’t push any further. After all, everyone had their secrets. Kylo glanced at Gordon with a knowing look. “Mr. Herbert, please send my regards to your father.”

Gordon chuckled loudly, replying, “No need. After all, I’ve never left Ontdale, and I have no idea you own the Galaxy.”

His tone was sharp, a clear warning.

After that, Gordon ignored the key card the attendant offered and headed straight for Allison.

“Allison, I think I hurt my back,” he said, giving his best puppy-dog look. “It’s tough to treat this injury on my own. Can you help me?”

Kellan heard the exchange and casually grabbed Allison’s wrist.
