She's the Campus Prince

Chapter 687

Cameron looked at Bradley in surprise. "Brad, it's just dinner, you really don't have to make such a big deal out of it.

'Besides, my parents and brothers have already met you. No need to act like it's your first time visiting them. She wondered.

Bradley gently took her hand and said softly, "Cam, I know it's just a meal, but I still want to show my sincerity and proper manners."

Getting out of the car with Cameron, Bradley walked over and popped open the trunk. Cameron's eyes widened when she saw the trunk packed full of gifts.

"So many?" Cameron blurted out in surprise.

Bradley just smiled and said, "Not many at all."

'The trunk is just too small, that's all,' Bradley thought to himself. 'So I didn't buy many gifts."

Cameron tugged at Bradley's sleeve. "Brad, it's already more than enough. You really don't need to buy anything else."

Bradley just smiled, "Alright."

But later that afternoon, when Cameron slid into the front passenger seat, out of the corner of her eye she saw the back seat piled high with gifts.

Cameron didn't know what to say now, not expecting Bradley'd have gone on another shopping spree that afternoon.

Even though she felt a bit helpless, Cameron couldn't help but feel warm.

Bradley's love for her extended to her family, so she believed she didn't misjudge him, who always made her feel so at ease.

Noticing Cameron staring at the back seat, Bradley reached over and gently ruffled her hair. “The car's too small. I'll get a bigger one in a couple of days.

Cameron finally looked away and smiled, "No need, this car is fine."

Bradley chuckled, "Alright, then I won't change it."

Cameron raised an eyebrow. "Why do you obey me without question?"

Bradley smiled, "I have to listen to my future wife, after all."

Cameron's lips curved into a smile, but she didn't say anything/

Bradley started the car, and after about ten minutes, they pulled up at Yates

Manor. Cameron and Bradley got out of the car together.

Levi and Jacqueline were already at the door waiting for them, but Levi still looked

a bit stern, while Jacqueline walked towards them with a big smile.

"Cam, Brad, good evening!" Jacqueline greeted them warmly.

"Hello, Mrs. Yates," Bradley said politely, nodding.

Cameron opened the passenger door and said, "Mom, could you have someone help us bring these in?"

"What things?" Jacqueline asked, peering inside the car.

Her eyes widened when she saw the back seat packed with luxury gifts.

Jacqueline let out a helpless sigh. "Brad, I'm already glad to see you here. You

really didn't have to bring all these gifts-that's very kind of you!"

She quickly waved someone over to help carry everything inside.

Hearing the commotion, Gavin, Lance, and Amelia also came out to see what was happening.

Lance and Amelia hadn't held their wedding, yet, but they were already legally married and almost glued to each other every day, either hanging out at Yates Manor, the Chapman family's house, or at Lance's place.

Today, Jacqueline had specifically asked them to come back for dinner.

The servants carefully carried all the gifts from the back seat of the car into the living room before Bradley popped open the trunk

Jacqueline's eyes widened in

surprise. "There're even more in the trunk? Brad, you really didn't have to go to all this trouble!"

Bradley took Cameron's hand and said, "Mrs. Yates, it's not troublesome at all. It's just a token of my regard."

Hearing this, Levi finally couldn't hold it back and walked over with a smile. "Brad, it's clear you've put a lot of thought into this."

Seeing how well Bradley treated his precious daughter, Levi also couldn't help but feel genuinely happy, so there was no need to keep up the stern act

anymore.

'As long as Bradley truly cares for my sweetheart and they're happy together, that's all I could ever ask for, Levi thought to himself.

Gavin watched the servants going in and out, his brow furrowing. "Are we throwing a party or something?"

Lance, holding Amelia's hand, grinned, "Gavin, when you go visit your future wife's family, you'll be just as gallant."

Gavin's face darkened. "And where exactly is my wife? Are you going to pick one for me?"

Lance kept quiet.

Amelia couldn't help but tease with a smile. "Gavin, want me to set you up with some pretty girls?"

Gavin said coldly, "Not necessary."

'There are plenty of single people in the world-it's not like I'm the only one.' He thought to himself.

With that, Gavin walked over to greet Cameron and Bradley.

Lance held Amelia in his arms and said, "Look, he's getting flustered,”

Amelia couldn't help but laugh. Then they also walked over to join Cameron and the others.

It had been a long time since Amelia had last seen Bradley.

These days, she was in love with Lance-so madly that she'd practically forgotten she had ever fallen for Bradley.

So seeing Bradley again now, Amelia didn't feel awkward at all.

Even if she did remember, it was no big deal, because her crush on him when they were young was past history now.

As for Bradley, he also didn't remember he'd ever turned her down. To him, she was just an old school friend, nothing more.

Gavin walked up to Bradley and looked him up and down. "Not bad, man. Way better than last time when you just brought us two bags of fruit.”

Bradley adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses. "Gavin, sorry about last time. I was in a real hurry."

Gavin just shot him a look and didn't say anything.

"Cam!" Amelia called

out, running over and linking her arm through Cameron's. She shot Cameron a knowing look, raising her eyebrows. Cameron instantly got what Amelia was hinting at, and just gave a helpless smile.

Back when they first started college, Amelia was always teasing Cameron, saying Cameron definitely liked Bradley.

'Turns out, my friends always see it before I do, Cameron thought to herself.

"Amelia?" Bradley blinked in surprise at her.

She was his classmate in high school, and what was she doing here at Cameron's place?

Hearing the confusion in Bradley's voice, Cameron suddenly remembered his memories had all been erased from the moment she moved into Room

16. 316.

So, anything that had happened between him and Amelia after that wasn't within

his memory.

Cameron quickly explained, "Brad, this is my second sister-in-law."

Bradley looked puzzled. "Sister-in-law?"

'My classmate is now my girlfriend's sister-in-law? Fate really does work in

mysterious ways, Brad thought to himself.

Amelia waved with a bright smile. "Hello, Bradley."

Bradley smiled too, "Hello, Amelia."

Lance folded his arms. "Brad, didn't expect you two to know each other."

"We were actually..." Amelia started, walking over to Lance and locking her arm through his. But then it suddenly hit her that she used to have a crush on Bradley.

It didn't matter to her, but Lance would probably mind. So, she had to keep it secret.

Anyway, when she declared her love back then, Bradley was the only one who knew about it.

'Surely Bradley isn't that oblivious, is he?' Amelia thought to herself.

"So, what exactly were you two?" Lance asked when Amelia fell silent. Amelia flashed a bright smile. "We were classmates in high school." Jacqueline chuckled, "What a coincidence! Amelia, you and Cam were also college classmates, huh?"

"Let's go in first," Levi said.

In the living room, there were so many gifts brought by Bradley that the coffee table couldn't hold them all, so a bunch ended up on the floor.

Seeing that, Levi instructed the servants to take everything to the storage room.

Bradley reminded them, "Mr. and Mrs. Yates, there's some food among them, so don't forget to eat before it's stale."

Jacqueline beamed. "Brad, it's so thoughtful of you. I'll have someone sort it out later."

"Have a seat," Levi said, gesturing for Bradley to sit down.

Cameron sat down first, and Bradley was about to sit next to her.

But someone moved even faster, snagging the seat beside Cameron before he

could. And it was none other than Gavin.

Bradley could only stare at him in disbelief.

Cameron gave him an awkward smile. "Brad, why not sit opposite u

e us?"

"Alright," Bradley said, taking a

seat across from her.

Amelia leaned over to Lance and whispered, "Gavin is actually pretty funny."

Lance just gave her hand a squeeze without saying anything.

"Brad, I hear your law firm has quite a reputation. Is that true?" Levi asked, trying to make conversation.

Ever since he saw the Instagram posts of Cameron and Bradley last night, Levi had been curious. So he spent the whole day today investigating Bradley's background, even aware exactly which kindergarten Bradley had attended. "Yeah, Mr. Yates, if you have some free time, I can give you a tour of my law firm in Steerfall," Bradley offered.

Gavin sat right next to Cameron, watching Bradley like a hawk, as if he thought Bradley might snatch Cameron away at any second.

"Gavin?" Cameron couldn't help but call out to him.

Only then did Gavin turn to look at her with gentle eyes, unlike the wary look he gave Bradley.

"Cam, what's wrong?" Gavin asked.

Cameron said softly, "Gavin, Brad is my boyfriend. Don't be so nasty to him."

Gavin fell silent, feeling sad.

'She's already taking his side, but I didn't even do anything yet. How am I being nasty?' Gavin thought to himself.

The butler came out of the kitchen. "My Lord, My Lady, dinner is ready. When

would you like to eat?"

"Let's eat now, it's getting late," Jacqueline said as she rose to her feet, and everyone else stood up as well.

When they reached the dining room, Bradley knew better than fighting Gavin for

the seat next to Cameron.

All he had to do was to imagine himself in Osborne's shoes, and he could

understand why Gavin acted that way.

However, Gavin didn't sit next to Cameron this time.

So Lance said, "Brad, sit next to Cam."

Bradley's lips curled into a smile. "Sure."

Today was Bradley's second time visiting Yates Manor.

The first time had just been an accident, and this was his first official visit.

Therefore, Bradley took this visit very seriously, and so did Levi and Jacqueline.

The dining table was loaded with delicious dishes, and there were still some that hadn't even been served yet.

Levi got straight to the point. "Brad, now that you and Cam are in a relationship, I

want to make one thing clear-I won't marry Cam off, so you'll have to marry into our family."

Cameron was surprised to hear that.

'We've only been dating for a day, yet they're already talking about him marrying into my family?' Cam thought to herself. 'That's way too fast.' Hearing this, Bradley still smiled, "Mr. Yates, that's no problem for me. I'll just let

my parents know. We have a lot of sons, so my parents should agree with it."

Chapter 687 Jacqueline chuckled, “Brad, you don't have to marry into our family, but you two need to stay in Viramont. That way, we can see Cam wherever we wam. After

getting married and having kids, if you're busy with work, I can help look after them."

Cameron could only stare at her in disbeliet.

'Why are they already talking about having kids?' she thought to herself. 'Mom

and dad are getting more ridiculous by the minute! Lance chinted in, "Mom, Dad, your concern's unnecessary. Brad's law firm is

already open in Viremont, right across from Carn's company. Don't worry, even if

Cam gets married, she's still your precious daughter."

Amelia added, "We just don't have such a problem."

Both Amelia and Lance were from Viremont, and she had a younger brother at

home, so the two of them could settle down anywhere they liked.

Lance teased, "I wouldn't mind marrying into her family either." Hearing that, Amelia couldn't help but laugh.

Gavin spoke up, "Anyway, Cam's not allowed to live anywhere but Viremont."

It was not negotiable for him that his one and only little sister, married or not, had

to stay where he could visit at any

Bradley looked at Cameron, his gaze soft and full of affection. "I'll go along with whatever Cam decides."

Cameron smiled, "I'll just do whatever my parents say."

Cameron indeed didn't want to be apart from her family because being with them

just made her so behind and settle down in Viremont didn't seem fair to him either.

happy. But asking Bradley to leave his parents

'Wait a second. What am I even thinking right now? Am I really already thinking

about a future with Bradley?' She realized, a little flustered. 'No need to get ahead

of ourselves just yet!'

Bradley smiled, "Then I'll just listen to your parents." Hearing that, everyone couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Except for Gavin, who looked a little sulky, the mood at the table was cheerful and

lively.

After dinner, Jacqueline arranged a guest room for Bradley, who stayed behind to chat with Levi in the living room.

Meanwhile, Amelia dragged Cameron back to Cameron's room before the two of

them sat out on the terrace. Amelia gazed up at the starry sky and teased, "Who was it that swore up and down she and Bradley were just friends?" Cameron hugged a pillow to her chest, curling up lazily on the flower-patterned couch. "So how did you figure it out, anyway?"

Amelia grinned, "It was pretty obvious, honestly. So many guys were chasing you and you never cared, but you always acted differently facing Bradley." Cameron smiled and wondered, 'Guess I really was the last to know.' Suddenly, Amelia turned to her and said, "Cam, why don't you and Bradley just go get your marriage license? Then we can have our weddings together." Cameron looked at her in disbelief. "Are you serious? Bradley and I only made it official yesterday."

Amelia shrugged. "Come on, people just wanna get things done as fast as possible these days."

Cameron shook her head. "I don't care about it. I just wanna let nature take its

course."

Amelia tilted her head at her. "What a shame. Think about it. If we had our

weddings together and even had kids at the same time, wouldn't that be a

blast?"

Cameron was quiet for a moment before asking, “Wait, are you and Lance already thinking about having kidst

'Well, that made sense. Lance's already thirty, time to settle down and have a family!' Cameron thought to herself.

Amelia smiled sweetly, "No, he's not ready yet. I'm the one who wants to have

kids."

"Lance doesn't want to have kids?" Cameron asked, a little confused.

She knew her parents had been longing for grandchildren for ages, so if Lance

had a baby, maybe Gavin would finally get a break from all the lectures. Amelia said, “He wanna enjoy life with me first, and then maybe have kids in a

couple of years. I'm only 26, so there's no rush. I'll go with whatever he wants."

Cameron smiled, "Amelia, I'm really relieved to see how happy you are with

Lance."

They'd gotten married in a hurry, and Cameron had honestly been a little worried

at first. But as long as they got along well, she could rest easy.

Amelia grinned, "Lance's honestly a good guy."

Cameron replied with a little pride, "Of course I know."

Amelia nudged her, "So what about you and Bradley? Any plans for the two of

you?"

Cameron let out a helpless sigh. "We just made it official yesterday. What plans could we possibly have?"

Amelia nodded. "Yeah, then just enjoy your lovey-dovey relationship. Kind of wish

we could have our weddings together, though."

Cameron just shrugged, not caring much about all that ceremony stuff anyway.

At Viremont Airport, a woman in sunglasses and high heels, dragging a black suitcase, walked out of the terminal.

Right away, her eyes alighted on a massive poster across the street, saying that

Cameron Yates, developer of wonder drug for leukemia, had saved thousands of

families.

"Cameron Yates?" The woman let out a cold laugh and took off her sunglasses.
