Janice rolled her eyes. "I'm talking about Mr. Frankton! He may have agreed to partner with our family, but that doesn't mean he's our slave! Why would you make him work so much? Even if he has the energy, do you have to keep pushing him?!"

Myra had actually neglected the fact, and it was true that she was the one who started this quarrel.

If Frank had to help her for no reason, it was really stretching it.

"Hey, handsome... I really haven't considered if you mind it."

Hurrying to Frank, Myra promptly promised, "I swear this won't happen ever again."

Frank simply chuckled. "Actually, you ladies don't know me that well. To be honest, I love doing this-I'm basically addicted to it.

"So, even if you weren't the one who started this fight even if it were a stranger being bullied—I would've seen this through to the end, and for no other reason than I like it."

Despite what Frank said, Myra was under the impression that Frank said it for her benefit and absolutely loved him for that.

Such a stinking brat who was as strong as he was handsome and understanding... Honestly, she could not get more of him!

That was when a flamboyantly dressed youth appeared on the stairs.

Seeing the commotion in the hallway, he hurried to the middle-aged woman and asked, "What happened here, sis?"

The middle-aged woman promptly warped the truth. "I was just sitting in my room, and that bitch suddenly barged in to hit me!

"I was not about to take that lying down, so I called the boys, but her boy toy was actually a fighter. He didn't just knock them out, but she broke my leg too!"

The other hotel guests all laughed right then.

"Hey, now. Could you not slander them in broad daylight?"noveldrama

"We saw everything. You're the one who bullied the delivery boy and even assaulted him. The lady wouldn't stand for that-that's why she intervened."

"Also, you called up your boys for your petty revenge, and the gentleman never hurt you. Why spout so many lies?"

Seeing the doubt on her brother's

face, the middle-aged woman

promptly tied again. "Don't listen to

them! I got a little upset and snapped at them, and now, they're holding a grudge, which is why they're all taking that bitch's side."

The youth actually felt something was out of place, but since the middle-aged woman was his sister, he would rather side with her.

Studying up at Frank, he snapped, "Aren't you worried about comeuppance for your behavior, brat?"

Myra smirked. "Comeuppance? If that happened for real, your sister would be in hell!"

The youth frowned. "I won't hit a woman, but that doesn't mean you should tapdance around the limits to my patience. Push me too far, and I'd even bite."

Myra laughed at his words. "Oh, my! Are you saying that you're a dog? Come on, good doggie. Bite me if you can!"

The youth was furious, but knew he would not win with Frank standing on Myra's side.

Whipping out his phone, he snapped, "Just you wait! I'll make you pay when the time comes!"

Since Myra had every intention to blow things out of proportion, she could not care less about his threat, let alone explain the truth.

Standing akimbo, she laughed. "I'm still alive and waiting, so hurry up and don't waste our time!"

The youth ignored her, and as soon

as his call answered, he was suddenly fawning. "Yes, sir, I'm at the hotel. I've checked, they're the ones who started it. Please, you have to help me out considering we go way back!"

"I see. I'll be right there!" the voice on the other end said.

Soon after the youth hung up, another man soon arrived. Seeing his face, Frank smiled in wry amusement.
