Chapter 2716
Jouri laughed. "He has such a long list of enemies that he really wouldn't know. Still, you could tell me their name, address, or appearance. That might help."
Lightning Man shook his head. "I know nothing about him, only his face."
He dropped to a crouch, his fingertips sparking with electricity, burning concrete as he drew a face of a shady man.
"That's about how he looks," Lightning Man said. "Watch out-he's really slippery."
Frank nodded. "Don't worry about him, and remember what I said."
"Don't worry. I will!"
And with those words, Lightning Man turned to leave, sighing lengthily.
He used to feel troubled over being too strong and having no match, but he did not need to now.
However, who could have thought that Frank could be this powerful?
Either way, this meant he would spend the rest of his life trying to surpass Frank, as he was like a natural disaster in human form. That would be much more difficult than finding someone better than him-as Frank was immovable just by standing there.
But so what?
With a goal, life was clearer, and that was enough for Lightning Man.
After Lightning Man left, Jouri asked Frank, "Why are you letting him go? Aren't you worried that he would bother you further?"
Frank chuckled. "It doesn't pay to be a saint, but there's no reason to kill a man like him either. And don't worry-given his nature, he won't be giving me any trouble. Even if he did, would I have a reason to fear him?"
Jouri smiled and nodded-that much was true.
A strong person could face any threat coming their way, regardless if they were a saint or a murderer, because said threat was simply insignificant and neutralized with on more than a stare.
"That man looks so shady," Jouri complained as she walked up and took photos.
Frank chuckled. "And it's that shady character who could convince that fellow that I'm strong. Don't underestimate him now!"
Jouri smiled but said nothing-she was naturally aware of Frank's might, but that did not apply to just anyone.
Forget the country, let alone the world-it was likely even the people of Shagan would doubt Frank could be as strong as the rumors said.
And considering Lightning Man's pride, would he really have given up on his meditation and challenge Frank right away just because of what someone said?
Others aside, the man definitely had a silver tongue that could talk people into dying for him.
Jouri shrugged. "Well, he really is nothing to fear."
Frank smiled and nodded.
However, soon after he returned to the homestay cottage, he alighted to find someone standing near it.
།
He was covered in a dark-red cloak and wore a steel mask while holding another man by a throat-and it was none other than Lightning Man himself, who was now covered in wounds!
Frank was at once curious—after all, Lightning Man appeared weak, but that was only relative to himself.
While he would not be peerless among martial artists, he still would not lose that badly in a single duel.
That meant that Masked Man was powerful, even creepily so!
"And why did you come looking for me?" Frank asked, very curious about that.
Masked Man laughed coolly. "You're really forgetful, Chief Frankton. Could you have forgotten that you promised me
