Matthew asked coldly, "What are the consequences? Why don't you let me know?"

Then, Kenneth held onto his temples, where Matthew had hit him, and gritted his teeth as he said, "You might think you're all that shit just because you defeated me today, But obviously have no idea just how terrifying the wealth and connection the Fuller family has accumulated over the past three generations!

"Even the three states in the northwest wouldn't dare provoke the Fuller family, so if you take these formulas away, the Fuller family will definitely come after you! It's no use even if you're good at fighting because you can't afford to offend the Fuller family!

"Besides, the other families in the Traditional Medicine Association won't let this slide!"

At the threat Kenneth had thrown out, Matthew was filled with murderous intent, and his eyes sharpened coldly. "I haven't even dealt with you for stealing my formulas yet!"

Upon hearing that, Kenneth sneered inwardly. He assumed that Matthew was too much of a coward to actually kill him, because when he had fallen unconscious, Matthew never took the chance to finish him off.

With that thought in mind, Kenneth spoke confidently, "That's right. I stole the formulas. But what can you do about it when I'm from the Fuller family? Go ahead and kill me if you're not afraid of the Fuller family."

Just then, Matthew raised the gun and aimed it at Kenneth. What followed was a series of gunshots that only stopped once the firing pin was heard striking against the metal after the last bullet had been shot out.

Kenneth proceeded to look down at his body, where the blood was trickling out of the gunshot wounds-his life was being strained away.

Needless to say, Kenneth was terrified, and he said, "How... How could you?" Immediately after, Kenneth collapsed to the ground with a thud.

Matthew threw the gun away and said, "Serves you right for talking so big when I have a gun in my hands!"

On the side, Levi had been scared out of his wits as his face paled. He had heard Matthew say that he killed Isaac, but Levi never really took it seriously.

Now that he had finally witnessed Matthew killing Kenneth, he felt a chill sent down his spine as he pleaded in terror, "Don't kill me... I didn't see anything!"

At that moment, footsteps were sounding from outside, and two burly men soon charged into the room. But they froze in horror when they saw Isaac lying dead on the ground.

Upon noting their arrival, Matthew turned to retrieve a gun from the safe and shot the two burly men until it was out of bullets.

Once the two burly men fell to the ground in a puddle of their own blood, Matthew threw the gun away.

Levi, who was watching by the side, had already sweated buckets and said, "Don't... Don't kill me."

At that, Matthew gave it a few thoughts and said, "Why would I kill you? You're my accomplice, and you brought me here, so not only would I not kill you, but I even have to thank you for guiding me here."

Having heard that, Levi froze for a moment, and once he came back to his senses, he realized that Matthew had decided to drag him down the muddied waters. He was now one of the Fuller family's enemies.

In the future... Levi didn't dare to think of what would become of him if the Fuller family were to come after him for revenge.

Matthew scanned through the cash in the room and told Levi, "Set it on fire!"

Levi didn't understand what Matthew was trying to do, so he confirmed what Matthew said.

Then, Matthew explained, "Set the villa on fire, or it'll be quite troublesome for us to handle."

Levi felt a chill run down his spine when he heard what Matthew said. The latter had just murdered someone, but instead of calling a big shot to take care of it, he chose to cover up traces of its evidence.

It was clear that Matthew didn't that come from an ideal background, so it was very dangerous for Levi to get involved with Matthew. But he could only follow Matthew's lead for now, or he would be lying dead here as well.

Then, Levi lit Some cash on fire with a lighter before he went downstairs to set the couch and bed on fire. Afterward, both Levi and Matthew scurried out of the villa, which was very quickly devoured by the flames.

Matthew stored the box of formulas in his trunk and drove down the mountains with Levi next to him.

Halfway down the hill, they noticed a woman running in a panic, and Levi's gaze turned indescribably odd afterward.

He pretended not to notice the woman, and after they had sped a few hundred miles ahead of the woman, Levi blurted out, "That maid... She's a witness. Aren't you afraid that she'd tell on you?"noveldrama

Matthew then replied coldly, "People already knew that we were going to find Kenneth when we were in Arcadia, so even if it's not the maid who'd say it, there would be others to tell the tale."

Upon hearing that, Levi reminded, "If the Fuller family were to come and ask us about it, let's tell them that we only saw the fire when we arrived. They can't do anything to us without any evidence."

But Matthew didn't respond-he had other plans in mind. He wanted to walk the paths of traditional medicine so that he would be able to meet other members of the Fuller family in the future.

Since they would have to meet sooner or later, Matthew chose to take down a member of the Fuller family first and hit them hard. It would one day save him from getting attacked by a horde.

They continued their journey in silence, and somehow, the atmosphere turned a little odd.

Once Levi noted that they had arrived downtown, he cleared his throat and said, "Don't worry. I'll seal my mouth shut and never let anyone know of what we did. Let's separate here and go our own ways and forget everything that happened today."
