The Lycan King and His Dark Temptation

Chapter 1329

---- "My name's Rousse. I'm... undead," Rousse decided to tell the truth. "I died and was brought back with black magic." He lowered his head, not wanting to see her reaction. Even if she had done that weird thing with the dying wolf, maybe this was just too much. And there it was... the awkward silence. Meridiana didn't say a word, and he just watched the flames slowly catch on the wood shavings. With a sigh, he figured it was time for a proper goodbye.

But a joyful shout pulled him right out of his bubble of bitterness. "So that means you can carry dark magic inside you?!" "Wait, Meridiana... careful!" He had to catch her when she nearly tripped into the fire. She was in full excitement mode. Rousse fell back onto the grass and she landed right on top of him, touching his face. "No, wait..." he tried to grab her hands as her tiny fingers traced ---- the scars on his skin-and his were actually horrible.

"Tell me, Rousse, is it true you can't die? Are you... immortal?" Her face was just inches from his. She had both his cheeks in her hands, so he couldn't even move. "L.. I think so..." He was getting really nervous with those plump lips so close. The smell of flowers rushed into his nose, heating up the blood he didn't even have. He was a strange kind of undead... how could someone who had already died feel love? Rousse figured it was just some lingering reflex from when he was alive.

He had already given up on ever finding a mate-so why was he holding on to something impossible? But there she was, Meridiana, unafraid, unbothered by his ugliness, fascinated by the fact that he was a man who had cheated death. "Tell me, Rousse, is it okay if I do this?" The little witch opened her mouth slowly and a dark mist slipped ---- from her lips. A breath of black magic entered through Rousse's mouth and seeped into his system. It didn't hurt... no-it did hurt... he was in pain!noveldrama

His eyes widened as he swallowed. The burning was in his throat, where the intense power merged with his dead cells and seemed to bring them to life. "Do it again," he said, gripping her waist. Meridiana opened her mouth wider, just a breath away from Rousse's lips. Anyone looking from the wrong angle would've thought they were kissing-or about to. That's exactly how Victoria found them. Following the trail of her general, she arrived just in time to see the scene in the clearing by the river.

"But... what...?" She was speechless at the sight of Rousse sitting on the ground with a woman straddling him. She was holding his face, he had his hands on her waist, and ---- they looked about to make out. Rousse clearly hadn't wasted a second. "Am I interrupting?"
