A major issue happened to two famous and great families. The entertainment channel and news channel kept reporting about it, let alone the financial channel.

Jovan didn't have to turn to a specific channel when he turned on the TV. The screen was showing a scene related to the engagement ceremony.

Renee finally learned that Austin had targeted Alexander and Francine, which surprised her. He was crazier than she had imagined.

"How could they make such a mess?" Renee lowered her head, feeling dispirited. A profound helplessness gripped her.

Liam was right. Things wouldn't be that serious if it had happened before the ceremony or after the ceremony was over.

Yet, this happened in the middle of the ceremony. Everyone was watching, but the bride-to- be didn't appear. It was a great humiliation for the Baldwin family.

The Baldwin family enjoyed a great status in North City, and Austin was a man of prestige. Yet because of her, all of them were thoroughly humiliated beyond repair.

Renee felt that she was just an orphan from a ruined family. Her family was with Austin.

She wondered what she could do. She felt that she could do nothing, and was completely helpless. Excruciating pain gripped her.

She hugged herself and buried her head between her knees. Her shoulders started twitching as she cried silently...

Jovan was calmly watching TV, about to discuss the exciting plot with her. He wanted to hear her curse.

However, he didn't hear her curse even after waiting for quite some time. Instead, he heard her soft cries.

Renee ignored him and kept on crying. However, her cries hrew louder as if she were a baby who was not comforted.

He couldn't pretend to hear nothing.

"Okay, stop crying. It isn't a big deal! Austin caught Stefan's parents instead of yours. Why are you so anxious?" he snapped.
