Blimey, My Kid's the Heir to the Billionaire Boss!

Chapter 1511 Act Early

On the second floor, Micah stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, watching Ethan and Oliver load the kids into the car one by one before driving away.

Nathan waved goodbye from the car window, and Micah waved back, a loving smile on his face.

The convoy gradually disappeared from sight.

Micah let out a sigh of relief, drew the curtains, and turned to survey the room, ensuring everything was in order before pulling out his phone to make a call.

"How'd it go? Everything smooth?"

A deep voice came from the other end of the line.

"Smooth enough, but those three girls of Tristan's nearly drove me nuts."

Thinking of Mary, Emma, and Donna made his brow furrow.

"Tristan's kids are off-limits. No matter how much trouble they cause, you gotta deal with it."

The person on the other end reminded him sternly.

"I know. Thankfully, Silas took them away, and I finally have some peace."

Micah leaned back on the sofa, propping his feet up on the coffee table.

"Took them away?" The voice on the other end paused, then spoke gravely, "Does Sadie suspect you?"

"Micah" froze for a moment, frowning. "I don't think so."

His words were ambiguous; he wasn't sure himself.

"Regardless, we need to act quickly. Sadie might not be a threat, but she has the James Family backing her. We can't underestimate them."

"He's Tristan's key aide, not easy to deal with," the voice said immediately. "Follow my instructions and act swiftly."

"Got it," Micah replied. "I overheard them saying Mia has woken up. That kid saw me during the fire."

"I'll handle it," the voice assured. "Stick to the plan."

"Understood."

Micah hung up, spinning his phone as if plotting something.

Just then, a servant knocked on the door, respectfully reporting, "Mr. Clemens, Declan is here to see you."

Declan?

Micah raised an eyebrow and quickly responded, "Let him in."

"Yes, Mr. Clemens." The servant went to carry out the order.

At that moment, Rylan was coming upstairs. Seeing the servant going to fetch

someone, he felt puzzled and knocked on the door to report.

"Mr. Clemens, while you were away, Declan incited the board at headquarters to trouble Mrs. Clemens. His visit now might not be good news."

"Is he planning a rebellion?" Micah scoffed.

Rylan was momentarily speechless.

"Where's my phone?" Micah suddenly asked. "Bring me my phone."

"Yes, Mr. Clemens." Rylan quickly found the phone and handed it to him.noveldrama

"Mr. Clemens, your phone was damaged in the fire. This is a new one, but it has the same SIM card."

"Got it. You can leave now."

Micah took the phone and began searching through its contents.

Rylan felt something was off. Micah used to share his thoughts with him, but now he seemed to say nothing at all.

"Anything else?" Micah looked up at him.

"No, Mr. Clemens." Rylan bowed his head and left.

The servant then led Declan in.

From a distance, Declan greeted excitedly, "Mr. Clemens, it's so good to see you safe and sound."

"Declan, long time no see." Micah looked up at him, a lukewarm smile on his lips. "Sit." The servant immediately went to prepare coffee, and Declan's attendants were dismissed to wait outside.

Rylan felt uneasy. Micah was always meticulous, never discussing matters in the bedroom, especially not with outsiders like Declan.

Something was definitely strange today.
