Chapter 1772
Chapter 1772:
Errol huffed,
“Leave that woman be!”
“Mr. Happer, this…” Moshe looked from Errol to Nola, his expression confused.
Errol stated,
“She’s not one of the Happer family!”
If it weren’t for his years of training, Moshe might have gasped in shock at such a revelation. It was unbelievable. The girl Errol had brought back years ago was an imposter.
Moshe didn’t dare to bring it up again.
Turning to Harlee, his face still showing disbelief, Moshe asked,
“Harlee, how are you so extraordinarily skilled? Have you mastered some ancient martial art?”
Harlee smiled as she took her time to study the three of them, each with a different expression.
“It’s none of your business,” she said.
Her gaze dropped, the murderous intent therein chilling and unmistakable. Her presence alone subdued Nola, Moshe, and Errol—none dared to meet her eyes.
Errol was shocked. The information he had on Harlee didn’t reveal her true capabilities. He was unaware that Stefan, the informant, was loyal to Harlee and only provided information that Harlee chose to disclose.
It was clear Harlee didn’t intend for Errol to meet a peaceful end. He would likely remain puzzled by his defeat, even in death.
Harlee checked her phone, a sly, carefree smile spreading across her face.

“Finally here,” she said with a playful tone.
At that moment, Errol whipped out a detonator from his coat and screamed at Harlee,
“Harlee, I’ve rigged the laboratory with an auto-ignition device. We’re going down together!”
Realizing Harlee’s true power, Errol understood he had miscalculated. He couldn’t bear seeing Harlee’s self-assured expression and was prepared to take her with him, even if it meant his own death.
The murderous look in Errol’s eyes flared wildly.
“Nobody’s getting out of here! Ha-ha, nobody!”
His mind had snapped, overwhelmed by his botched scheme and Harlee’s daunting strength.
Moshe moved quietly from the iron gate toward Errol, his body tense. He had fully accepted that death was coming for him. Ever since the day Errol saved him, he had felt that his life was no longer his own. From that moment on, he had never feared death again.
Nola regarded them as if they were insane.
“You’re all mad. If you want to die, do it without me. I don’t plan on dying…”
She tried with her last bit of strength to open the iron gate.
Harlee watched the chaos like it was a theatrical performance, her chin raised, her face a mask of calm mockery.
