Chapter 1782
Chapter 1782:
“Now you can go inside.”
With her posture proud and unbothered, Celine turned and walked toward the center of the room. Harlee, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth, her expression eerily calm, silently followed.
Outside, Robbie and his team observed the events unfold through binoculars. Their fury was palpable.
“Damn it! I’m going to kill that bitch!” Robbie shouted, dropping the binoculars as he began to move forward.
Cillian grabbed him. “Do you want to jeopardize Harlee, Lonnie, and Felix by rushing in like that? Robbie, calm down. We wait for Harlee’s signal.”
Only then did Robbie and the rest of the enraged Twilight members manage to hold themselves back.
Not long after Celine and Harlee began walking toward the factory, Rhys pulled over.
“Talk about timing. I haven’t vented enough yet.” With a malicious grin, Celine drew a gun from her belt and aimed it at Rhys’s feet. “You have one choice: your legs, or you follow Harlee inside.”
Rhys didn’t respond with words, but his actions spoke clearly. He walked toward Harlee.
Bang! A gunshot rang out. Rhys was hit in the thigh. He grimaced in pain but continued limping forward until he reached Harlee.
Their eyes met. They didn’t speak, but a deep, mutual understanding passed between them.
“Are you two going to come inside and see them or not?” Celine’s voice was edged with venom. If not for Harlee, she believed she and Thiago might have fallen in love—maybe even married.

She clapped her hands. Two armed guards appeared, dragging Lonnie out like discarded trash.
In just a day, Lonnie looked utterly worn and unrecognizable. The once-energetic president of a publicly traded company now appeared weak and disheveled. His clothes were torn and stained with blood, his face bruised. It was evident he had suffered brutal treatment.
The sight hit Rhys like a blow to the chest. For Harlee, it was nearly unbearable.
“Dad…” Harlee called out several times, her voice cracking. Lonnie didn’t respond.
“Lonnie! Lonnie!” Rhys added urgently, but still, there was no reply.
“Celine, what have you done to my father?” Harlee’s voice was sharp, her eyes burning with restrained fury.
“How interesting, Harlee, seeing that expression on your face. It truly lifts the spirit,” Celine said mockingly as she sauntered toward Lonnie. “Relax, he’s just sedated. He’s not dead.” With deliberate cruelty, she pinched Lonnie’s arm.
“Don’t touch him.” Harlee’s fists clenched so tightly that her nails dug into her palms. Watching her father being treated like this was agony. It felt as if her heart was being shredded.
Lonnie stirred slightly, but his eyes remained closed.
Celine sneered. “Harlee, remember your place. You’re the one pleading with me, not the other way around. Keep that attitude up, and I won’t hesitate to shoot him in the legs too.”
“You…” Harlee bit her lower lip hard. Her father and her child were in Celine’s hands. If she acted recklessly, the consequences could be irreversible. She felt completely trapped.
