The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage)

Book 3 Chapter 2.

Harmony POV.

Today has been productive. Not only did I manage to get my latest book finished, I also went over the design plans for the bar. That's if the club let it pass tonight. I know they will because they love me.

I walk up the steps to the familiar clubhouse, which is my second home, and open the doors into the main room. I see the members milling about, drinking and

playing bar games.noveldrama

"Hey Harmy.” I roll my eyes and walk into the open arms of uncle Hound. He is one of my favourites. He is always getting into some kind of trouble and he is hilarious. All the brothers and their ole ladies are my aunts and uncles.

"Houndy, what are you up to?" I ask as I squeeze him and he sighs and I know the

answer.

"Club business." We both say at the same time, and he chuckles and I smile up at him.

"It is always club business. You staying out of trouble, at least?" I ask when he slings his arm over my shoulder and we both walk towards the bar. I don't drink, so the prospect knows to give me soda.

"You know me. I'm never in trouble." I roll my eyes at him, shaking my head.

"Yeah, and I'm a pink unicorn. What did you do this time?" I ask him when his ole lady Michelle walks over to him.

"Oh, you going to tell her or shall I?" she says, giving him the glare. Oh, I know that glare momma has it down to a tee. So whatever he has done, I can guarantee it's nothing great.

"Baby, how many times it wasn't me? Maybe it was one of the kids," Hound replies, practically whining when Michelle places both her hands on her hips and pops her hip to the side. Oh dear.

"Really, so you didn't hide my contraceptives from me, thinking I wouldn't notice. I told you, Danny, no more kids." My eyes go wide at the use of his legal name. I punch him in the arm.

"You better not have done that, Danny. Give her a break, you damn hound dog. God above your son is only six months old, and the other two are tiny tearaways. I swear if those pills are not back in her purse in the next hour, then it's." I make a snipping motion with my fingers and he winces. Michelle hides the giggle and just glares at him.

"Fine, yes, ok. God, Harmony, you are just like your momma and nanna. You are so..."

"She is what now?" I turn to my momma, who is watching Hound giving him the do not fuck with me look and he smiles and becomes nervous.

"Beautiful and kind, caring, generous. That is what I was going to say." My momma narrows her eyes at him.

"Uh-huh, sure you were. You better go and find them and now Hound unless you want Doc to take a few inches off of you." she says, and he winces and walks away but not before he kisses Michelle on the cheek and messes up my hair and walks towards my momma and kisses her cheek as well.

"How do you put up with him?" I ask as we watch him speed walk to wherever he is going. Michelle chuckles.

"He is a good guy, a great daddy to our kids, and he has skills." I make a face at that. Gross. I don't need to know about his skills. The conquests of Hound before he made Michelle his ole lady are known all over the damn country. He didn't get the name Hound for nothing.

"Not listening." I plug my fingers in my ears and walk away shouting la, la, la, la as I walk to my momma. She is laughing at me.

Ok, I am still a virgin and the thought of sex is not something that is on my mind right now. I'm far too busy making my business successful to be thinking about that. Plus, the guy wouldn't last long, not with all these big burly biker men in my life and the fact of my mafia connections. So it's safer for everyone to not get involved with me and this crazy bunch.

The thing is, I wouldn't change my life for anything. Yes, we are such a big family and we may drive each other mad, but this is what I know and I love them all.

"So I believe you met Maverick and his little darling girl, Melody, today. How did that go?" Momma asks me as I move to sit next to her as we wait in the main room. Church will be called soon to discuss my business proposal. Not that I need their permission because it won't be associated with the club, but it's a courtesy. Every business owner in town runs everything past the club.

"You know me, momma, always cautious, especially when it comes to a new man wearing a blank leather cut. I had to make sure dad knew he was here. His little girl is so cute, Maverick, he is a man of few words. So what's the deal with him?" I ask her and she looks at me with the same eyes as me.

"Melody didn't know she had a dad. Her mom was a club girl and not the nicest person to be around. Word got back to Maverick when he was on the road about the girl and he went back. Felicity was found by him in a compromising position. Luckily, Melody was being looked after by one of the other women. The child was malnourished and dirty. He took her and sought refugee with us. Maverick has been here before when he would pass through. He is a good guy, and he adores Melody." I nod in understanding. Most clubs aren't like ours.

We don't have the club women or whores as they are known pop-pop got rid of them and it has stayed that way since. Less drama and it keeps the ole ladies and current girlfriends happy.

"So where is Felicity and why didn't she fight for her child?" I ask because if that was me. One, I would never allow my child to be treated like that, and two, I would fight tooth and nail for her.

"She gave up her rights and signed Melody over to her father. Felicity will never change. We stopped working with that MC a while back after your dad and brother saw the state of the clubhouse and women who were working there. The place is rotten and so are the members." My momma explains and I nod along, listening as I take in our clubhouse.

We are so different from all of them. We value our familial bonds and we respect each other. The door opens and a little girl with dark hair runs inside and heads straight towards Michelle, who is now feeding Elijah, her six-month-old baby. Maverick steps inside, his eyes finding mine, and I look away and pick up my drink. This did not go unnoticed by my eagle eyed momma.

"Harmony, are you blushing?” Momma nudges me with her shoulder and my cheeks burn brighter.

"No, I'm having a tropical moment." I sass back, and she laughs, throwing her head back before she kisses my head and hugs me.

"Yeah, right, and I'm the pope." She says, and I groan at her. "Don't let your dads or brother, for that matter, find out about your ... Tropical moments. You know how they are." I glare at her and she winks at me, smiling.

"Hey Mav, how are you and little Melody finding it here?" Oh just great, did I tell you my momma is the biggest wind up merchant there is out there? No, well yeah, she is.

He walks closer to the table, his eyes locked on me. I drain my drink and stand

up. I give a scathing look at my momma and walk past her when she slaps my

ass.

"Pussy." She whispers and I look at her.

"Bitch." I mouth back and she smirks at me.

"Maybe you can show Mav and Melody around town, Harm. What do you say?" I stop in my tracks and I turn and look at her and she is sitting with her arms folded against her chest as she smiles innocently at me. Why the little ...

"Would love too. Great suggestion, mother." I say mother slyly and I know she hates it. She says it makes her feel old. She picks up a napkin, screws it up and throws it at me. I laugh as I turn and walk to the bar.

"CHURCH!" I turn and see my dads and brother standing in the doorway to the conference room and smile at them. My dads wink and me and Harry sticks his tongue out at me, yeah real mature. Looks like the decision has been made. Fingers crossed, I get it.
