The Billionaire's Forbidden Longing

Chapter 237 Meeting Yasmin Again

Allison strutted away, not giving a second glance to her classmates who had come to see her off.

"Guys, hit the books! I'll be waiting for you at Stellar University!"

"Allison, we'll come visit you at Stellar University!"

Her classmates cheered. Allison waved and then walked off alone. At the gate, she bumped into someone she didn't expect to see.

It had been a few months since she last saw Yasmin, and she looked totally different now. Her hair was casually clipped up, and she wore a loose maternity dress that showed off her slightly swollen belly, contrasting with her slender frame.

Allison frowned a bit, looking at Yasmin with pity.

"Allison, I didn't expect to see you here!"

Yasmin's face, initially filled with despair, changed instantly when she saw Allison. Her eyes turned sharp, and she put on a haughty expression.

"I'm surprised too. Didn't you drop out? What are you doing here?"

Yasmin had been expelled, but she wasn't ready to accept it. She had the Walker family intervene to keep her records at the school, hoping to return after giving birth.

"I'm just having a baby. I still plan to go to college!"

Allison looked at her, feeling a mix of emotions.

"You're having twins, and the Walker family isn't feeding you? Why are you so thin?" Yasmin's eyes welled up, but she quickly steeled herself. She couldn't show weakness in front of Allison, nor let her see her as a joke.

"The Walker family treats me well. I just have severe morning sickness and can't keep food down."

Allison didn't care about Yasmin's life with the Walker family, but seeing Yasmin, once a socialite of the Bennett family, now in such a state, made her uncomfortable.

Allison took off her backpack, pulled out a notebook, and wrote down a few words and

a name.

"When you go for your check-ups, find this person and get these two medications. They could save your life."

Allison put her backpack back on and walked away without looking back. Yasmin clutched the note tightly, tears streaming down her face.

Inside the school, Yasmin avoided being seen and completed her paperwork with Magnus.

As she left, Yasmin sat in the car, struggling for a long time before telling the driver to take her to the hospital.noveldrama

When Yasmin found Dr. Henry, he was startled. He frowned at Allison's note and immediately issued an admission order.

"In your condition, you need to be hospitalized."

Yasmin felt embarrassed. She knew the Walker family didn't like her and wouldn't care if she was hospitalized.

Still, she held onto a sliver of hope and called Oliver. When she told him she needed to be hospitalized, he responded with just one sentence.

"Why don't you just die already?"

Holding the phone, Yasmin wept uncontrollably. Dr. Henry sighed inwardly. Was this karma or self-inflicted?

But Yasmin was only eighteen, so Henry contacted Allison. Allison said one sentence. "I'll cover the costs and find someone to take care of her."

This was Allison's last act of kindness towards Yasmin. Before they turned five, Yasmin and Allison were as close as sisters. Yasmin, being the older one, always had Allison's back. Whenever Preston bullied Allison, Yasmin would run to tell Hayden.

But after Hayden sent Allison to live with the Bishop family, Yasmin's attitude towards her changed. Remembering this, Allison called Jonah. Soon enough, Jonah showed up at the hospital with a servant from Bennett Manor to take care of Yasmin. Seeing Yasmin's condition, Jonah sighed.

She should have been a vibrant young woman, about to start college, but now she was in this state.

"Ms. Allison Bennett, Ms. Yasmin Bennett's condition isn't good. I want to take her back to Bennett Manor. The Walker family won't let this go easily. We'll need your help."

Allison thought for a moment and agreed, but she didn't tell Alexander. Instead, she went to Serenity Manor to see Kismet.

"Kismet, have the Walker family come to see me for treatment?"

Previously, Allegra didn't believe in Allison's medical skills and sought her out to cause trouble. Now, because of Oliver, Allegra was seriously ill and partially paralyzed. Miles from the Walker family had come several times seeking help.

This was largely due to Elsa from the Wells family spreading the word. After two months at Serenity Manor, Elsa had recovered well, looking healthy and radiant.

As a result, Allison's reputation in high society had grown significantly. "They've come a few times, even specifically looking for Xavier. But Mrs. Walker has such a bad reputation that we didn't agree. What if she causes trouble?"

Allison called Xavier over. "Xavier, if I treat Mrs. Walker, will it cause us any trouble?"

Xavier shook his head. "It shouldn't, but the Walker family is notorious. It's best not to get involved with them."

Allison nodded, having made up her mind. She left Serenity Manor and contacted James.

"James, I want to meet Mr. Walker. Can you arrange it? Don't let Alexander know." James hesitated, glancing at Alexander, who was inspecting a real estate project in Silverpeak City. He found a quiet corner to speak.

"Ms. Bennett, this is a difficult request."

"I know, but I need Mr. Walker to get Yasmin out of the Walker family. Only he can make that happen."

James's expression turned serious.

"Ms. Bennett, Mr. Walker and Miles's family have always been at odds. Involving him might provoke them."

"I don't need him to intervene directly. I just want to use his name to treat Allegra. He'll get the credit. I can't let Miles's family take advantage."

James understood Allison's intention. He called Declan, who didn't mind the conflict with Miles's family and saw it as an opportunity.

"Don't worry, I'll handle it."

Soon, Allison received a call from Declan, arranging to treat Allegra that afternoon. To show his filial piety, Declan brought a truckload of nutritional supplements, displaying them at Miles's house for everyone to see.

"Declan from the Walker family is really filial, bringing so many supplements!"

"It won't help. Allegra doesn't like Declan and even kicked him out before. She can't tell real filial piety from fake!"
